For a unique experience in a place steeped in history, theVilla Lepois & Spaa 19th-century private mansionᵉ century, welcomes you with its five elegant rooms, vast living space and therapeutic spa, just a stone’s throw from the train station and the heart of Nancy
Designed, decorated and furnished with refinement and care, Villa Lepois is one of the testimonies left by the École de Nancy and the Art Nouveau movement in the neighborhood of the same name, and offers you a haven of peace and change of scenery, where the calm and well-being of occupants remain the priority.
The Villa’s main entrance on rue Lepois opens onto an outdoor area with an exotic wood and Burgundy stone floor, where you can relax comfortably in a chaise longue, the sofa area, the various benches, at the foot of a hundred-year-old lime tree or in an outdoor wellness and therapeutic spa with different massage programs and types that can accommodate and relax up to 6 people.
The second gate, located at Quai Claude le Lorrain, will enable you to bring your vehicle inside and/or enjoy a table tennis table and BBQ.
The Villa’s main entrance door opens onto a 100 m2 living room with dining area, sofa, reading area, gaming area and fully-equipped kitchen, a central staircase in Burgundy stone leading to the two upper floors, and a bathroom and toilet suitable for people with reduced mobility.
On the upper floors, the Villa offers a Master suite, a suite as well as 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and toilets are at the service of the occupants.
While its name tells you that it is naturally oriented on either side of the Villa, thanks to its large triple-oriented bay windows and central balcony, which let in generous amounts of light and allow the Villa’s century-old lime tree to invite itself into your windows, you’ll notice as you look at some of the books, frames and photos adorning a wall or the period fireplace that it also invites you to share a few moments of theater or cinema.
Over time, the Majorelle garden, named after its founder, became the property of Yves Saint Laurent, from where, from the 1970s onwards, he made many of his Moroccan-inspired greetings cards, which he sent to friends and family until 2007. The name of this Suite is inspired by the name of the greeting card series, “Love”.
When a painter from Nancy embraces Orientalism and paints in majestic buildings like La Mamounia, or creates sumptuous gardens that still bear his name today, where the scent of orange trees, coconut palms, banana trees, yuccas, jasmine, bougainvillea, fuchsia, cactus and other agaves wafts through the air. The name of this Double Room is a nod to this painter who was born in Nancy at the same time as the Villa at the end of the XIXᵉ century.
Like a nod to nature, this double room is adorned with palm trees, cacti and bamboo, and imagines itself as a little getaway in the heart of a wild palm grove, from which it draws its inspiration.
Like a desire to change times, to change the world one flower at a time, this Double Room is full of pep and inspired by iconic 70’s fashions and colors, such as a small vintage Prisunic sideboard in its original version that will plunge you into those years, a lampshade made by a lampshade craftsman in the pure style of that era, or a telephone with a rotating orange dial, mythical of the baba cool and disco years.
